KONAMI CORPORATION

We hereby announce that our consolidated net revenues for the year ended March 31, 2009 reached record high of ¥309,771 million (year-on-year increase of 4.2%).

Consolidated operating income, income before income taxes and net income were ¥27,361 million (year-on-year decrease of 19.1%), ¥24,719 million (year-on-year decrease of 24.7%) and ¥10,874 million (year-on-year decrease of 40.7%), respectively. This was mainly due to business structure improvement expenses of approximately ¥11.1 billion, including accelerated depreciation of tangible fixed assets, for the Health & Fitness segment (recognized as extraordinary losses under Japanese GAAP).

The Digital Entertainment segment enjoyed favorable results driven by solid sales of computer & video games including METAL GEAR series and soccer games, as well as solid sales of card games business.
