Consolidated Results for the First Half ended September 30, 2009
(Prepared in Accordance with U.S. GAAP)

No. 09-011

November 5, 2009

KONAMI CORPORATION

We hereby announce that our consolidated net revenues and consolidated operating income for the first half ended September 30, 2009 were ¥113,914 million (77.5 % of the same period in the previous year) and ¥4,611 million (20.2 % of the same period of the previous year), respectively.

Income before income taxes and net income attributable to Konami Corporation were ¥4,029 million (18.0 % of the same period in the previous year) and ¥2,232 million (18.7 % of the same period of the previous year), respectively.

The business environment remains uncertain despite showing signs of some recovery from the economic slowdown that began last year.

Net revenues and operating income are lower compared to the same period of the previous year which saw the release of highly popular title METAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS.

Digital Entertainment segment saw solid sales of sports and music titles as well as the original title LOVEPLUS, a new romantic communication game, and card games. In the Health & Fitness segment, we strove to upgrade services to meet regional characteristics and customer needs. While opening both directly managed and outsourced fitness clubs, we executed facility streamlining.

As leading titles are scheduled to be launched in the second half of the year, there is no change in the financial guidance for the full year.
