KONAMI CORPORATION
KONAMI has named June “Environment Month”* and will promote various environmental conservation activities conducted by Konami Group members as well as customers and staff from Konami Sports Club. Throughout this month, we have planned a number of earth-conscious activities such as a seashore cleanup, coral preservation, and other initiatives for conserving energy at each of our business offices.
KONAMI continues to promote social action programs as a good corporate citizen. At the same time, we sincerely hope that we can contribute to the prevention of global warming and the realization of environmental protection through our efforts.

The Environment Agency has named June “Environment Month,” which includes Environment Day on June 5th, and throughout this month will hold several events that highlight the importance of environmental protection and serve as an opportunity to take action.
KONAMI's Approach During “Environment Month”
| Seashore cleanup | Will be conducted by guests and staff of the Konami Sports Club Diving School at the beach located in Kushimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture from the 19th to 20th of June. |
| Coral preservation | Involves planting new coral in the sea as part of a diving tour around Okinawa from the 24th to 27th of June. |
KONAMI's Commitment to the Environment
| Unitization of the Green Power Certification System | We contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions by utilizing the Green Power Certification System. |
| Conversion from heavy oil to natural gas | The Konami Sports Club has been converting the fuel for boilers, which serve as its heat source, from heavy oil to natural gas since July 2008 in an effort to reduce CO2 emissions. |
| Promotion of modal shift | We strongly promote a modal shift that involves switching from truck to rail transport. |
| Introduction of our cogeneration system | The Konami Sports Club promotes environmental protection by utilizing a cogeneration (combined heat and power) system. |
| Utilization of solar power generation | The Kobe Office has been implementing a private power generation system that uses solar energy since April 1997 in consideration of the environment. |
| Reduction of electricity and water consumption | KONAMI has been utilizing LED lightning, water-saving shower heads and ECO temperature standards to reduce electricity and water consumption in an effort to conserve energy. |
