Corporate Social Responsibility at the Konami Group

Basic Policy

The Konami Group has designated as one of its core management policies the aspiration to "maintain sound relationships with all stakeholders, including our shareholders, and contribute to society as a good corporate citizen." We will actively engage in such initiatives across the entire group.

In addition to always being conscious of maintaining good relations with shareholders, investors, customers, business partners, employees, and society in general through our corporate activities, we specifically address the following four issues: "Environmental Initiatives," "Supporting Culture, Academics, and Sports," "Community Assistance," and "Kozuki Foundation."

Our Activities

Environmental Initiatives

The environment and global warming are issues that affect the future survival of the company. In addition to alleviating the environmental impact of our corporate activities in general, the Konami Group is also devoted to enhancing environmental conservation by working with consumers in a way unique to the Konami Group.

Supporting Culture, Academics, and Sports

Culture, academics, and sports are key elements of a fulfilling life. Because our group is in the entertainment and health industry, supporting related activities is a mission of great importance. In addition to providing a healthy and culturally rich life through our business activities, we contribute to a more fulfilling society through a variety of helpful projects.

Community Assistance

In order to fulfill our mission as a good corporate citizen, we undertake various community activities. Members of the Konami Group together donate to victims of natural disasters around the globe through employees´ contributions and fulfill corporate social responsibility through businesses including game production.

Kozuki Foundation

The Kozuki Foundation for Sports and Education is supported by dividends from the KONAMI CORPORATION. The foundation, formerly known as the Kozuki Foundation for Education, was established in 1982 based on the concept that “Japan’s future is in education.” The foundation promotes a variety of activities from sports-related initiatives for cultivating top athletes to educational and cultural aid.
