Kozuki Foundation for Sports and Education

The Kozuki Foundation for Sports and Education first established in 1982 under the name Kozuki Foundation for Education, is a public corporation under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It has contributed to promoting and developing sports, educational and cultural activities for more than 25 years. The foundation is committed to making a greater social contribution while seeking to offer programs that meet the needs of the times.


*The foundation was established by Kagemasa Kozuki, the founder and the current President of KONAMI CORPORATION.
*The foundation is a major shareholder of KONAMI CORPORATION, and carries out its operations with the share dividends.



Sports
[ Support Sports Athletes ]
Supporting sports athletes and Instructors representing Japan, to arrange circumstances for improving their competitiveness and their own records
[ Kozuki Sports Award ]
Presenting awards to sports athletes and instructors representing Japan, who have achieved outstanding results in Olympic Games, World Championships, or other equivalent athletic meetings.
[ Subsidy for Sports related Organizations and Games ]
Providing subsidies for international and nationwide tournaments and athletic meetings, held by sports related organizations to be specified by the Foundation.
[ Subsidy for Sports related Research Activities ]
Providing subsidies for researches in the fields of sports medical science, and sports science in order to contribute to nurture excellent sports athletes representing Japan.

Education & Culture
[ Subsidy to Cartoonists and Animators ]
Providing subsidies to nurture persons from age 15 to about 25, who are aiming to be cartoonists, animators, illustrators and the like, and are selected by examinations of piece of work, practical skill and individual interview.
[ Subsidy for Promotion of Educational and Cultural related Activities ]
Providing subsidies to educational and cultural related organizations, groups and individuals, for the promotion of educational and cultural related activities.
