ＫＯＮＡＭＩの家庭用サッカーゲーム 『WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven10』（日本国内向け 4/27発売 Play Station2）の出荷本数が、100万本を突破しました。また同時に、「ウイニングイレブン」シリーズは、全世界累計で2,900万本を超える出荷となりました。
10周年を迎えた今年、「WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven10」は、”｢快適操作｣、｢サッカーゲームの爽快感｣、｢リアルサッカーの追求｣の高次元での融合” をコンセプトとして制作されました。
実戦さながらの迫力と臨場感に加えて、誰もが楽しめる快適な操作性を実現することで、同シリーズを初めてプレイされる方にも楽しんでいただくことができます。また、多くのユーザーからご要望を頂きました、アルゼンチン、イタリア、イングランド、オランダ、スペインなどのナショナルチームのライセンスを取得し、ゲームの幅を大きく広げました。 今後は、北米、欧州市場においても、同シリーズの最新作を発売する予定です。
ＫＯＮＡＭＩは、家庭用ゲームソフト「WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven10」を中心に、アミューズメント施設向けゲーム、携帯電話向けコンテンツ、メインテーマソングCD、更にはサッカーカルチャーマガジンなど、多くのサッカーファンに向けて、多面的な展開を進めています。
