KONAMI CORPORATION

We hereby announce that our consolidated net revenues and consolidated operating income for the year ended March 31, 2007, were ¥280,279 million (106.9% of consolidated net revenues for the previous year) and ¥28,145 million (1,134.4% of consolidating operationg income for the previous year), respectively, and we marked increases both in sales and profits from the previous year.
In the consolidated fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, Health & Fitness segment had been upward as growing health conscious population in Japan, and Gaming & System business segment had been going well with expanding casino gaming markets worldwide. As a result, the both segments had increased the profits.
Our net revenues in the consolidated fiscal year ended March 31, 2007 achieved a record high.

※1 The Operating Income for the year ended March 31, 2006 includes accelerated depreciation related to Health & Fitness segment.
※2 The Consolidated Net Income (¥16,211 million) for the year ended March 31, 2007 decreased from previous year.
This is due primary to the sales of investments in an affiliated company executed in the previous fiscal year, which we realized gain on sales of ¥6,900 million. Accordingly the net income actually increased from the previous year.

4.Summary for the year ended March 31, 2007

<Digital Entertainment>

  1. (1)  The products utilizing the “e-AMUSEMENT” system, a service networking amusement arcades nationwide in Japan, such as the “MAH-JONG FIGHT CLUB” series, “BASEBALL HEROES 2” and “CURUCURULABO” continued to sell well.
  2. (2)  An extra-large token operated game, “GRANDCROSS” expanded its sales.
  3. (3)  The “WORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven” series (known in Europe as “PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER”) as a whole recorded sales of over eight million units.
  4. (4)  Sales of “Dance Dance Revolution” series for the PlayStation®2, Xbox, and Xbox360 crossed the one-million unit mark in North America.

<Health & Fitness>

  1. (1)  Opening large-scale facilities at good locations such as such as in front of the station and the scrap-and-build of old facilities reformed the profit structure.
  2. (2)  Focusing the business of operation of sports facilities outsourced to us increased the facilities and the profit was increased.
  3. (3)  Providing the high value-added pay services such as the review of fee-based program and the introduction of the original IT health management system.

<Gaming & System>

  1. (1)  Increased the sales with strengthening the foundation in the expanding North American market and expanding the content.
  2. (2)  The new platform “K2V” series has sold well in North America.
  3. (3)  “Konami Casino Management System” supporting casino operations has increased its sales steadily, and the periodic income such as the revenue from maintenance services.
